From Joanne to her son

You were my mother and my friend.
Which was unusual.
Somehow our characters still blend:
Your wisdom and my will.

I turned, and you were there for me;
I spoke, you understood.
I felt cared for but also free;
You loved, and I was good.

I'm fortunate that I was born
To someone just like you;
I love you still. Though I am gone.
I live in what you do.

                             ~ Nicholas Gordon

And I love you still, always and forever, dear Scott.

                                                        Your Mom

From Gabriell to her daughter
Would you please add Stevie to your list.  Tell her she will never be replaced and that her mama sleeps
peacefully in the forest waiting for her girl to return from her adventure.

From Roxanne to her husband
Remember my Rick. Tell him my heart is mending, but will never be as strong as it was when he was here. Tell him his children,
Adam, Ben, Jesslyn and Hunter are amazing and his two daughter in laws, Angie and Danielle are exactly who we would have
picked for Adam and Hunter. Tell him his granddaughters Riyanne, Sidney and Madisyn are the most beautiful and sweetest little
girls in the world. And....his first grandson, may arrive during Shasta time! If not, tell him to protect and watch over him, until it's our
turn down here! And tell him that I'm trying my hardest to make him proud of me.

From Diana to her daughter
Dear George, the 10th Shasta Memorial, time has gone by so fast.  Please remember Karla and please tell her that her children are
so bright and beautiful and happy.  They have grown strong, are caring and compassionate children, Brooke was baptized on Easter
Sunday and Mason is "all  farm boy" still loving his tractors.  They both are doing well in School.  Brooke plays the clarinet in the band
and made the high honor roll.  Mason brought his math grade up from a C to a B and have several projects entered in 4-H fair.  He
will show pigs and Brooke will show sheep.  Please also tell her that I will be fine.  That with the love and support of our gracious
father, my bt family, her dad, and her love and strength will carry me through this battle.  Please tell her that her dad and I miss her
and love her so very much.  Tell her that her brother Evan is very good, happily married, and a wonderful dad to Alexis and Jacob.

From Sharon to her husband
Thank you so much for remembering all our brain tumor warriors.  I would appreciate it if you would add my dear Kirby to your list.

From Lisa to her brother
As Always, I ask you to shout Brad's names to the stars!

Tell him we are so grateful for the signs and gifts he constantly gives us....For protecting me and our family..........
For wiping away my tears when I need it the most..........

For Saving my Life.............

For Guiding me to you........and everyone here on the bereavement list-serve

For Guiding us to the CURE one day very, very soon!!
Tell him and G-d and Stacia and all of our Angels that we are so grateful for their Love in our
lives everyday and for guiding us to each other and to find a cure one day soon.
Above All, tell Brad and all of our Angels that we miss them
still...........and we will NEVER forget them.....not EVER.....and our Love is equally Eternal

From Emily to her father
George, thank you for doing this.  It is extraordinarily comforting.
Would you please remember my beloved father, Lee...he is not forgotten.

From Collette to her daughter
On the 27th of April, it will be seventeen months since Janet has passed.  I finally have had the courage to visit the
BT website and saw the beautiful pictures of Lake Shasta and read the prayers. I was left almost breathless by the
beauty.  I would truly be honored if you remembered Janet there.  I too believe in Angels.

From Leigh to her father and friend
My father, Rick Hallett, died 2 years ago last January. Also, this past winter Heather Kornmann succumbed to her brain tumor.
She was only 24 and she was very kind to my father during radiation.

From Renee to her daughter
If you could please include Abbey again this year I would be so grateful.  I am still praying everyday for some sign from
Abbey that she is still with me in some small way.  It has now been sixteen months and I have yet to have any sign that
is significant.   Missing my little goose more and more with every day that passes.

From June to her son
Please let Matt know he is forever in our hearts.

From Heather to her mom
Please remember my mom, Sandra Chambers Loughlin : your contagious smile and loving spirit transcend.

From Shaun to her husband
Bruce died the 21 of April so it is a time of honoring for me too.
Bruce you are forever remembered and loved by your precious Shaun.

Two special dedications, for this 2008 Memorial

From Lisa to her son
Ryan, your mom Lisa is suffering a tremendous amount of guilt and needs your constant signs and help
to heal her wounded soul.  Let us teach her the power of forgiveness

From George to the Healer
Dear God:  Another young woman has fallen ill to brain tumors that has come into my life by way of
my son.  Her name is Katie Reich. She is 27 years old and a science teacher at Mitty.  I pray for
her, God. Katie has already demonstrated she is both a fighter and a righteous kid.  Please put her
unto your protection and help to heal her.
