Clyde was
born on April 11th, 1959 at Puget Sound Hospital
in Tacoma, the
son of Clyde Emmett Green, Sr. and Janet Faye (Allee)
Green. He married Brenda Lewellen 9/9/78 - divorced
11/4/84 - and remarried her 1/13/90. He wanted to be
remembered as a good man, a wonderful husband and an
awesome Dad - he was all that and more.
He resided in Mt. Vernon WA for the last 3 years of his life and was formerly
from Stanwood, Lake Stevens, Tacoma and Kapowsin WA. He graduated from Bethel
High
School in
Tacoma in 1977. He went through the Glaziers and Glassworkers apprenticeship
program and became a journeyman with Local #188. He worked in many different
aspects of glass work - including high rises in Seattle, residential work in
Ballard, and a project in Honolulu, Hawaii. He put in 23 years with the
Glaziers & Glassworkers
union. His most recent employer was Stanley Access Technology - putting in automatic
doors across the state.

Clyde
was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma grade 4 brain tumor
on October 9, 2003. Clyde's union benefits allowed
him to stay at home during his illness, with his wife
Brenda, a registered nurse, providing full-time care.
Family, close friends and Clyde's beloved dog Spot
were at
his side as he took
his
last breath as his loved ones prayed him into heaven.
He turned his life over to the Lord at the age of 30
and felt
an urgent need to share Jesus with many people. He
recently told several family members and friends that
he would
be 'expecting' them in heaven. (He said he'd be saving
spots
for them up there).
Survivors
include his loving wife Brenda (Lewellen), his awesome
son Justin Green (age 13), his
sister Carol
Green
and nieces Michelle Reddekopp and Kimberly Kopf and great
nieces Amanda & Danielle Reddekopp and Courtney Kopf
from the greater Tacoma area. Clyde was preceded in death
by his Mother and Father.
