Rick died after a brave and valiant 4 week battle with GBM-IV. We were married on November 5, 1977. In addition to me (his wife, Roxanne) he left behind 4 wonderful children, Adam Richard, Benjamin Wesley, Jesslyn Claire and Hunter Eugene. Adam has since married (Angie) and they have two daughters, Riyanne and Sidney. Hunter and his girlfriend Danielle gave us another granddaughter, Madisyn, in December, 2006.

Rick was a farmer and a lifelong outdoorsman. His family was the great love of his life. He was a man of great faith in God. We have to believe that somehow he sees us and is loving us and protecting us from Heaven. Rick was loved and admired by everyone who met him and he never met anyone he didn't like...no matter what their circumstances or choices in life. He was truly a gift to the world, my world and my children's world.  We will never be complete without him.
