Bill
had a wonderfully ornery sense of humor and could brighten
any room with his smile. He had a taste for fine wine
and was a very health conscience man (walked two miles
a day up until his diagnosis.) Bill’s favorite
time of year was Christmas when family would come together
to celebrate the wonderful love we all share. He was
braver that any man who walked this earth and was a
hero to more people than can be counted.
Diagnosed
with glioblastoma multiforme in August 2003, he
lost the ability to walk after a biopsy (removal
of the tumors was not an option.) Incredible as
it was, he maintained his sense of humor, even
under the worst of situations, and his will to
live was steady and strong. Even in sickness, he
was a selfless man, always thinking of others before
himself..
Daddy, you are loved and missed more than words can say. Even
now, we seem lost without you…
You
are constantly in our thoughts and hearts. Please
keep us in your prayers,
Love,
Pamela Thuem (list member and daughter), Judy (wife), Cindy
(daughter), Tanner and Max (grandsons), Edna and Buck Reinecker
(parents), and Phil, Dennis, Jim, Ruth, Linda, Sharon (siblings),
and all of our other family members and friends who reserve
a special place in their hearts just for you. You were
loved in life, as you are loved in death
