Ashley Wilson
January 11, 1994 - January 8, 1997

It’s hard to believe it has been 11 years since we had to say goodbye. It seems like only yesterday I was able to tickle your foot and see your coy little smile.

They say time heals all, but with the passing of time I miss you all the more. If only I could look into your eyes, hear your voice, and watch you grow.

You would be turning 14 this coming Friday, I am left here to image what you would be like.

I’m sure that my imagination can not do you justice.

Love Dad

Happy Birthday Ashley: Clockwise – (1) A poem that Kelly wrote within the year after her sisters passing.

(2) Ashley and her big sister Kelly washing their hands for dinner. The picture was taken roughly 12 months after Ashley’s first resection (~ January 1996). We all thought that Ashley had beaten the monster.

(3) Comet Hale-Bopp becomes visible in January of 1997 to usher Ashley to heaven. On the 10th anniversary another comet, Comet McNaught, has come into view. Ashley is showing her love for us.
